The German plastic packaging market:
Many producers planning investments this year

The spike in costs which the plastic packaging industry is currently facing is manageable.

Many packaging companies told EUWID the hikes were moderate so far. Other overheads, e.g. transport and energy were rather stable.

Most companies interviewed by EUWID were not concerned regarding the availability of raw materials. However, some were already preparing for potentially looming shortfalls.
