The German polyamide market:
Brisk demand amid constant to lower prices

07 Sep 2017 −

The market for polyamide for packaging witnessed brisk demand in August.

EUWID respondents said the market was balanced. Following unchanged prices in July, film suppliers were purchasing at the same or slightly lower prices in August. The entire industry believes demand will develop positively until the end of the year.

PA 6 for packaging applications was in good demand in July and August. As suppliers told EUWID, there was no summer lull whatsoever.

Supply and demand are balanced again following a tenser availability situation in June. This was confirmed by producers and film suppliers who convert PA 6.
