The German sack kraft paper market:
Tight supply sends prices higher again

16 Jul 2018 −

Demand for sack kraft paper in Germany far exceeded supply in the second quarter.

As a result, producers were able to implement the price hikes they sought at the start of the second quarter without any opposition.

EUWID sources in Germany are now describing an “unprecedented shortage” on the market. Lead times for orders placed by new customers or additional amounts going beyond existing contracts are reportedly four months or longer.
