The German waste plastics market:
Lacklustre demand in November

16 Dec 2019 −

November was another month without any improvement in the framework conditions for plastic recyclers in Germany.

Another reduction in primary plastics prices and plunging volumes, especially in sales to the automotive industry, are raising the pressure on recycled plastics.

The situation is being made still worse by converters’ year-end destocking.

The export business was surprisingly good at times in November.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the German waste plastics market. The EUWID Price Watch Waste Plastics for November together with the complete report were published in EUWID Packaging Markets 25/2019.
