The German waste plastics market:
Weaker demand and widespread price pressure in August

19 Sep 2019 −

Demand for waste plastics was extremely subdued on the German market in August.

Converters were very hesitant with their purchasing, said recyclers. The sales prices for regranulate often had to be trimmed.

Market insiders also attributed cuts to the price pressure on the primary plastics market.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the German waste plastics market. The EUWID Price Watch Waste Plastics for August together with the complete report were published in EUWID Packaging Markets 19/2019.
