The Polish corrugated board market:
Board industry preparing for high-demand autumn and winter season

17 Aug 2018 −

Production of corrugated board and corrugated packaging in Poland is said to be at a decent level this summer.

Capacity utilisation at the production plants was described in early August as "sound, on the whole”. The high temperatures are causing a huge surge in demand for beverages and other seasonal products, leading to extremely good activity levels at some packaging suppliers. Other players reported seeing a slight slowdown in order intake in July compared to the first quarter but said they had no reason to worry.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's bimonthly report on the Polish paper and board market. The EUWID Price Watch for July together with the complete report is published in EUWID Packaging Markets 17/2018.
