The Polish packaging paper market:
Price hikes for CCM announced

11 Jun 2019 −

Until the end of May, the Polish market for brown corrugated case material (CCM) continued to experience excess supply and declining prices.

There were significant price cuts in both April and in May for testliner and unbleached kraftliner. At the same time, demand and corrugated board production in Poland are reportedly stable at a good level.

In the middle of May, to the surprise of many market participants, one packaging paper producer in Poland announced price hikes, by the end of the month, at least one other supplier had followed suit.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's bimonthly report on the Polish paper and board market. The EUWID Price Watch for May together with the complete report were published in EUWID Packaging Markets 12/2019.
