E-commerce and export drive packaging market in Poland

Germany's export-oriented neighbour Poland is increasingly becoming a European hub for packaging and growing continuously.

Studies have shown that the dominant packaging material is plastic, closely followed by paper. According to forecasts by the BMWi, the packaging market will continue to grow, not least due to rising acceptance among Polish consumers for e-commerce. However, Polish raw material production is not sufficient to cover domestic demand.
