Fillings of aerosol cans decline for second consecutive year

Last year, a total of 5.492bn aerosol cans were filled in Europe.

That is 84m less than in 2018, rendering this the second consecutive year of declining aerosol production in Europe since 2013. However, the decline in 2019 was more moderate compared to the previous year: From 2017 to 2018, according to the FEA, the European Aerosol Industry Federation, the number of filled units fell by 190m to a total of 5.576bn aerosol cans.
