Fillings of aerosol cans in Europe yield for the first time since 2013

Last year, a total of 5.576bn aerosol cans were produced in Europe, according to the European aerosol industry federation FEA (Fédération Européenne des Aérosols) – that is 190m units less than in 2017 (5.766bn).

It is the first time since 2013 that European aerosol production has dropped.

Great Britain, Germany and France were responsible for more than 60% of the overall production in Europe. In 2018, these three countries plus Italy, The Netherlands and Spain accounted for 4.712bn units of the overall tally of 5.576bn.
