Fillings of aerosol cans in France increase slightly in 2018

A total of 696m aerosol cans were filled in France last year – that is a 1.5% increase on 2017.

The volume of insecticides and herbicides registered the greatest percentage gains due to the extreme weather. Moreover, it was the first time in France that cans of this product category were filled for the export sector.

In contrast, fillings of deodorants and anti-perspirants declined by 7.2%, according to a report released by the French industry federation CFA (Comité Français des Aérosols).
