German paper sack industry expects 2020 performance to match last year’s level

In 2019, deliveries from the German paper sack industry were 5.5 per cent lower compared to the previous year.

Industry players described their business situation between "good” and "satisfactory”. Thanks to timely measures to ensure business continuity in the corona crisis, the industry started with a plus in 2020 and looks forward to the rest of the business year with confidence, says the industry barometer published by the working group of the paper sack industry (GemPSI).
