German plastic packaging industry is not expecting any major losses

10 Jan 2020 −

The plastic packaging industry in Germany was able to improve both turnover and deliveries in 2018.

The plastic packaging industry federation IK “Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen” is however careful with its forecast for 2019 albeit it is not expecting any major dips either.

The federation is indeed concerned about the increasing substitution of plastic with other packaging materials. But the overall economic development was expected to have the strongest impact in 2019, IK told EUWID.

Our biweekly e-paper and print magazine keep busy professionals up-to-date on the latest news from European paper and board, plastics, metal and glass packaging markets.
