Spain’s corrugated board output rises again in 2018

In 2018 Spain produced a total of 5.29 billion m2 of corrugated board, 1.6% more than in the year before.

This was reported by the Spanish industry association AFCO (Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Envases y Embalajes de Cartón Ondulado). As early as 2017, Spain’s corrugated industry surpassed the 5-billion mark for the first time, producing 5.20 billion m2 of corrugated board at the time.

According to AFCO, in terms of production figures Spain came fourth once again in 2018 after Germany, Italy and France.
