Tethered caps: suppliers present solutions at the BrauBeviale trade fair

Numerous suppliers of caps used this year’s BrauBeviale in Nuremberg to present their solutions for so-called tethered caps.

The requirement that plastic caps and closures for single-use plastic beverage packaging must in future remain connected to the container for the entire life cycle is part of the EU Directive 2019/204.

EUWID examined numerous prototypes at the trade fair and heard what suppliers had to say regarding the costs and material usage.
