Order books remain meagre in October and supply definitely outstrips demand, even though machines are being idled now and again. There is growing pressure on producers to grant price discounts, EUWID was told.
As a result, there were often price reductions at the beginning of the quarter for both folding boxboard and white-lined chipboard.
