Availability and prices were the two most discussed topics on the German market for lightweight (40 g) machine glazed kraft paper in mid-May.
While the market for brown grades was particularly tight and additional volumes were virtually unavailable, the situation appeared to be less tense with white kraft paper. Still, paper mills successfully pushed through their demands for higher prices for both MG kraft paper grades for deliveries as of 1 April or 1 May, EUWID has learnt.
