The situation in the market for standard commodity plastics was still mixed in July. However, there seemed to be signs that the market could turn around. At the time of research at the end of July, individual EUWID contacts on the sales side reported the first indications that prices had bottomed out. Converters reportedly had begun to fill their warehouses in view of the low price level.
