The situation for primary commodity plastics in Germany in June was characterised by a strong buyer’s market. The supply of all commodities from Western European production was described by all EUWID respondents as good to in some cases very good. Even the continuing production cuts by plastics manufacturers failed bring on a trend reversal. In addition, there were imports from the USA, China, the Middle East and the Arab region.
