EU Commission opens an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of PET from China

The European Commission announced on March 30 that it is opening antidumping proceedings regarding imports of PET originating in China. PET grades with a viscosity of 78 g/ml or more are affected. These are used for bottles, trays and containers for food, beverages, body care products and consumer goods. The request to initiate the procedure was submitted by PET Europe.
